Marina Salamon founded Altana and ran it for a long time. Barbara Donadon joined Altana just after graduating in economics. After managing various company departments, she took on the role of general manager. Today she has totally autonomous decision-making power and full responsibility for the company’s management. She is Altana’s managing director in addition to being one of its partners. Marina firmly believed in Barbara and in handing over her responsibilities to her she created a positive revolution: she has always thought that a company engages with its future through a generational change that is planned and put into effect long before the founder ages together with the firm.

Today, Marina and Barbara co-operate very freely on strategic planning and budgeting and every day they see the value of the resulting synergies. “I decided to reorganise the company, focusing on teamwork to cope with the continuous changes the market requires of us and presenting ever-new products. What I want in the future is a strong, strong-growth company.
